Why it is free
When something is free, the sensible question is who pays.Here the answer is short.
Most free chats are the thin end of a paid one. The free version exists to be slightly too small: a credit counter, a slower model, a limit that arrives in the middle of the work. That is not generosity, it is a shop window, and it is priced accordingly.
This one runs on hardware we already own and operate, with one model and no second tier to sell. An extra conversation costs us a few cents of electricity, which is why nothing here has to be metered, and why there is nothing to upgrade to.
What free means
Free, in the boring literal sense.
No card, at any point
Not at the start, not later, not to keep going. There is no payment form on this site because there is nothing to pay for.
No trial with an end date
Nothing switches off after seven days. The chat you use on the first visit behaves the same on the fiftieth.
No credits and no tokens
No balance to watch, no daily allowance, no message that says you have used up this week. Only a short pause between messages, so one visitor cannot occupy the machine.
No better version for money
One model, and everyone gets it. Nothing is greyed out, and no answer arrives shorter because you are on the free plan.
No ads in the conversation
No banners, no sponsored answer, no product slipped into a reply. The reply is what the model produced and nothing else.

Write in yours and the answer comes back in the same one. Spanish, Portuguese and English all behave identically here.
One thing that is not free to ask
Sexual material involving anyone under eighteen is refused, in every language and however it is worded. That rule has no price and no setting.

The questions free things deserve
What is the catch?
The honest list: no conversation history, no image generation, and a few seconds between messages. Those are the trades. There is no catch involving money, because there is no way to pay us.
Will it start charging later?
Nothing is built to charge. There is no billing system, no plan page and no account to attach a subscription to. If that ever changed, it would be a different product, not a switch flipped on this one.
Is the free model a weaker one?
There is only one model here, so there is nothing weaker to be given. What you get on the first message is what the service is.
How is this paid for, then?
The hardware is ours and already running for other work. One more conversation costs a few cents of electricity, which is a cost we can carry without metering it.
Are there ads?
None, and none inside answers either. Nothing is inserted into a reply, and no product is recommended because someone paid for the mention.
How much can I write in a day?
As much as you like. There is no daily allowance and no counter; messages are simply spaced a few seconds apart so a single visitor cannot occupy the machine.
Who runs it and where?
We do, on rented servers in a Dutch data centre. Conversations are not passed to OpenAI, Google or Anthropic.
Is the Spanish version the same chat?
The same chat, the same model, the same everything — only the page is in Spanish. Portuguese, English and forty-three other languages work the same way: write in yours and the answer arrives in it.
