Why it is free
When something is free, the sensible question is who pays.Here the answer is short.
Most free chats are the thin end of a paid plan: a credit counter, a slower model, a limit that arrives in the middle of the work. Here there is a paid plan too, but it adds extras, not messages. The free chat has no counter and no daily limit.
This one runs on servers we rent and manage ourselves. An extra conversation costs us a few cents of electricity, which is why messages here are not metered. Paid plans exist for extras such as no ads, more photos and longer memory, not for more messages. On the English side it is a no filter AI chat in the ordinary sense: no subject list standing between the question and the reply.
What free means
Free, in the boring literal sense.
No card to chat
Not at the start, not later, not to keep going. A card is only needed if you choose a paid plan, and the free chat never asks for one.
No trial with an end date
Nothing switches off after seven days. The chat you use on the first visit behaves the same on the fiftieth.
No credits and no tokens
No balance to watch, no daily allowance, no message that says you have used up this week. Only a short pause between messages, so one visitor cannot occupy the machine.
Extras for money, not messages
The paid plans add ad-free use, more photos, voice replies and longer memory. They do not sell messages and they do not loosen the rules: everyone chats under the same ones. No answer arrives shorter because you are on the free plan.
Ads only on the free plan
The free chat shows promotions, and the optional paid plans remove them. That is part of how the free side stays free, with no card on file.

One thing that is not free to ask
Sexual material involving anyone under eighteen is refused, in every language and however it is worded. That rule has no price and no setting.

The questions free things deserve
What is the catch?
The honest list: promotions on the free plan, one photo a day, a shorter conversation memory, and a few seconds between messages. Those are the trades. There is no catch involving money: the free chat never asks for a card, and the paid plans are optional.
Will it start charging later?
The free chat does not need a card and has no message limit. There are optional paid plans, Plus and Pro, that remove ads and add photos, voice replies and longer memory. If you never choose one, nothing is ever charged.
Is the free model a weaker model?
The free chat is not a trimmed demo: no daily cap, full answers, the same content rules. What differs is listed openly on the plans page — promotions, photos, voice replies, and how much of the conversation is remembered: about 5,000 tokens on Free, 20,000 on Plus, the whole thread on Pro.
How is this paid for, then?
We rent the servers and they are already running for other work, so one more conversation costs a few cents of electricity. Promotions on the free chat and optional paid plans cover the rest.
Are there ads?
On the free chat, yes: it shows promotions. The optional paid plans, Plus and Pro, remove them.
How much can I write in a day?
As much as you like. There is no daily allowance and no counter; messages are simply spaced a few seconds apart so a single visitor cannot occupy the machine.
Who runs it and where?
We do, on rented servers in a Dutch data centre. Conversations are not passed to OpenAI, Google or Anthropic.
Is the Spanish version the same chat?
The same chat, the same model, the same everything — only the page is in Spanish. Portuguese, English and forty-three other languages work the same way: write in your language and the answer arrives in that language.
Is the English version a no filter AI chat too?
Yes — the language changes, the product does not. Whichever version you open, no topic is dropped from the reply for being awkward. Anything sexual involving minors is refused in every language.
