A search API with no cost or card for your AI

FreeSerp doesn't charge per query or ask for a card to start: no key, no account, no published pricing plan. It draws on its own index of more than 3,100 million pages and a catalog of more than 20 million site profiles with AI-generated summaries.

A free chat that only repeats what it learned during training has a fixed limit: its training cutoff date. FreeSerp is a way past that limit without you, or the chat, having to pay for every search you do together.

What you won't pay for

There's no API key to generate, no account to verify, no card to register just to try the service. FreeSerp doesn't publish a pricing plan or a quota limit, so you can build a whole prototype without first deciding how much you're going to spend. That doesn't mean unlimited availability is guaranteed: it's worth testing your project's real volume before relying on it.

Where the results come from

The service combines two sources of its own: FreeSerp Global, an index of more than 3,100 million pages, and FreeSerp Main, a catalog of more than 20 million site profiles with a summary written by a language model instead of just the page title. It isn't a copy of Google's results: it's its own index, built separately.

How it connects without payment friction

The call goes straight to a JSON endpoint, with no authentication layer in between. There's also an MCP connector so an agent can use it as a tool inside its own reasoning flow. Neither route asks for a payment method before letting you make your first test query.

What it doesn't include

FreeSerp doesn't promise results identical to Google's, or any guaranteed freshness, and it doesn't publish fixed rate limits. It's also not a search engine with its own interface to visit in a browser: it's a technical piece meant to be built into another app or chat, not to replace the search bar you already use every day.

Why it matters to a free chat

Keeping a chat free for whoever uses it means watching every variable cost, and a search API that charges per query is exactly that kind of cost. A search source with no key and no usage billing is one of the pieces that makes it possible to offer a free chat without passing that cost on to whoever asks a question every day.

What still depends on the chat

Getting search results isn't the same as using them well: deciding which snippet to cite, and when to admit it found nothing useful, is still the chat's own job, not the API's. FreeSerp opens the door to the web; what happens next with that information depends on each assistant.
